BlockBeats News, August 23, alleged WLFI Wallet team member Dylan_0x (@0xDylan_) posted a message denying the association with the "Aave to Receive 7% of WLFI Total Token Supply" proposal. Possibly influenced by this, AAVE fell from a high of $385.99 to $365, a short-term drop of over 5%.

Crypto KOL @Luyaoyuan1 shared his opinion on the event, stating, "I used to believe that Aave would long AAVE's trading with this 7% and 20% protocol revenue. But in the weeks before the WLFI announcement, I saw the weakness of AAVE/ETH and Aave's lagging price increase. There are precedents where if WLFI does not fork, they do not intend to give AAVE the 7% coins. There is no surprise, and there are precedents. SPK defaulted on the 10% revenue share and only gave 1% in the end, which was unresolved. During the WLFI public sale, they said it would be fully unlocked, and now it has changed to partially unlocked. AAVE has now become a foolish project deceived multiple times. If there is a breach, support AAVE in suing WLFI."
