Whale Dump, Community Dispute Cause AAVE Price Volatility, Whale Opens 7x Short Position Betting Against AAVE
BlockBeats News, December 24th, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, a whale dumped AAVE tokens, causing a sharp price drop due to the Aave community's contentious upgrade. Subsequently, the address starting with "0x3c7" opened a 7x leveraged AAVE short position, with a position size of $2.42 million, an average price of $151, a liquidation price of $173, currently showing a 17% unrealized profit, now the largest short position on AAVE on Hyperliquid.
In addition to this position, the address also placed a limit sell order of about $780,000 at $154, which has not been filled yet. At the same time, it has set take-profit and stop-loss orders for the position: planning to take profit and reduce the position at $136 and stop the loss at $196.
